Several things make this example unique from other Cafiero chairs, one is the rare heavy bronze finish base, second is this example is in its original supple deep blue color tufted leather which is in excellent condition, third it is signed with its original Knoll International label with the 655 Madison Avenue address indicating this was an early 1980s collectors example, and fourth because this is the highback Executive variation of the design which is much more sought after than the lowback management chair.
