The Retreat is a modular sofa designed to evolve with your interior. Its lines rest on an undulating base, offering total flexibility to adapt the sofa to your space and lifestyle, whether you want to create a cozy interior or an open configuration for entertaining.
Its warm style is directly inspired by the principles of Scandinavian design. With its clean lines, balanced proportions, and down-filled modules and armrests, this sofa offers an enveloping and comfortable seat. It will add a functional and warm touch to a minimalist or more eclectic interior.
Monica Förster is one of Scandinavia’s most influential designers. Despite a wide range of styles, her distinct design voice is always recognizable. Whether in carpets, glass, cutlery, hand-carved bowls, or furniture for Europe’s leading manufacturers. A five-time Designer of the Year in Sweden, Förster is represented in the permanent collection of the National Museum in Stockholm, with exhibitions at MoMA, New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. In collaboration with Fogia, she has created Kern, an expressive coffee and side table series.
Fogia is a Swedish furniture maker that blends thought-provoking design with timeless materials and expert craftsmanship. Rooted in the traditions of Scandinavian design, with a hint of Italian elegance, they create furniture that speaks to both heart and mind. Most of their pieces are made in their own factory by skilled craftspeople who understand what it takes to build something lasting: carefully selected materials like leather, wood, steel, and high-quality fabrics, and combining them with the knowledge and care to shape them properly. The result is furniture that feels both timeless and personal, made to inspire, and made to last.
