We are delighted to offer this exquisite antique Victorian drop pendant necklace made c.1900.
The drop features a wonderfully intricate and fine gold casing with quatrefoil motifs that encompass its entirety.
Beneath, a rich and royal blue enamel surface is present on top of a guilloche motif. Its colour, vibrant and regal and upon closer inspection slight changes of hue and translucency can be seen owing to the geometric pattern underneath - a testament to its quality and intricate craftsmanship the period.
Owing to its modest size yet striking colour, it would grace a variety of outfits as the perfect accenting accoutrement. Whether it be a blouse for the summer or on top of a turtleneck in the cooler seasons, such a distinguished pendant makes for a conversation starter for the keen-eyed.
The locket is unmarked as is common with articles of this period and as such we have tested it, indicating 15ct gold.
Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box. All of our jewellery come with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
