About Amitābha Studio

Founded by husband and wife creative duo, Davide Piai Kimberly Poppe, Amitābha Studio creates one-of-a-kind luxury lamps from antique and vintage ceramics. The name means "limitless light" in Sanskrit. Davide is an Italian craftsman with a passion for creating beautiful things. Kimberly is an American artist and interior designer educated at Parsons and Sotheby s Institute of Art. Together, they transform historical ceramics into functional art. Started in Amsterdam in 2021, the studio now calls Sitges, Spain home, incorporating both Dutch and Spanish ceramic heritage.
