Somebody once said that simplicity is the essence of happiness. So I dedicated this work to my friend Caterina Licitra.
Licitra chair challenges the ability to simplify, eliminating the unnecessary so that the necessary can speak. The hardedged and bold silhouette speaks a clean language made of a few primitive volumes that firmly fit together. The soft and bright texture of the yellow Pierre Frey Mohair brings a contrast. The blend is sculptural and playful making Licitra a love-at-first-sight.
The piece is locally manufactured in Milan and two versions in different fabrics will follow. The perfect location for the launch is the iconic Le Corbusier’s Unité...
