"Sereno" is an iconic coffee table, designed by Fredrikson Stallard and manufactured by Driade, with sculpture-like legs in polished cast aluminum or cast aluminum gold plated finished and MDF top with mirror polished stainless steel coating. Forms themselves are generated from violently created shards of glass, but they become unified into an utter stillness by including them into a simple flat sheet and turning the group into polished stainless steel. This creates a reflection of the three unified elements onto the flat surface. This even further shifts their nature from turmoil to serenity, so they resolve themselves through a new set-up of balance and symmetry.
