One Day Like Rain - Abstract Blue
By Arica Hilton
Located in Chicago, IL
ONE DAY LIKE RAIN - ABSTRACT BLUE Archival pigment print mounted on Dibond with UV protective acrylic Available sizes: 18" x 24" 30" x 40" 40" x 53" "Tender words we spoke to one another are sealed in the secret vaults of heaven. One day like rain, they will fall to earth and grow green all over the world." -Rumi (13th Century) ARICA HILTON BIOGRAPHY: Perhaps it was because she was born on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, an important waterway for cross-cultural trade and the birth of great civilizations, that Arica Hilton brings a passion for our earth and its inhabitants to her life as an artist and global advocate. Whether hiking the Himalayas to experience the country’s culture, or cage diving with great white sharks off Guadalupe Island, or participating in scientific expeditions to document threats to the health of our oceans, Hilton is driven to pursue first-hand encounters with people and their living environments. The seeds for Hilton’s dauntless pursuits were sown early. At six-years-old she moved to the United States, not knowing a word of English. Her sense of displacement had a lasting impact, prompting a search to uncover where she belonged in the world. Hilton determined early on that her most illuminating pathway would be the road less taken – a pursuit that continues today. Near and far, Hilton seeks the unique and uncommon. Her adventures have included 22 visits to Asia. She has swum, run and biked her way through triathlons. She has participated in global initiatives for just governance and human security. And she inspires awareness and searches for solutions to improve living conditions for humanity and our earth as a whole. Hilton’s art and global advocacy are informed by the different schools of thought and cultures that she continually encounters. Hilton’s own creative pursuits began with writing poetry and expanded to painting when she began to illustrate her poems. Her artistic evolution sparked an interest in the realm of creation as she discovered mathematics, physics, quantum mechanics and string theory. Her studies solidified her passion for environmentalism when she learned that stars are nothing more than another extension of humanity – that the elements in the bloodstream are the same elements that comprise a star. The interconnection was what Hilton had been searching for her whole life. As Hilton says “We are the same as a star. How beautiful is that?” Today, Hilton is a visual artist, poet and global advocate who travels worldwide to enrich her life and the lives of others. She is based in Chicago, where she is the director and curator of Hilton Asmus...

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar (Colour)
By David Yarrow
Located in Chicago, IL
"The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar (Colour)" Jacksonhole, Wyoming - 2025 Archival Pigment Print on 315gsm Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta Paper. Available Sizes: Standard 37" x 42" Unframed 52" x 57" Framed Edition of 12 Large 56" x 64" Unframed 71" x 79" Framed Edition of 12 "Established in 1937, the Million Dollar Cowboy bar in Jackson, Wyoming is one of America’s landmark honky tonks. Its authentic western vibe draws hundreds of visitors a day and yet despite this fame, the joint retains a folksy charm. That is quite a trick. It is the epicentre of the Jackson Hole community and probably always will be. Clint Eastwood has acted in the bar (Any Which Way You Can), Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr have sung there and I thought it was high time we filmed there. I was drawn to the ageless facade of the bar, with its retro neon lighting and famous rotating cowboy on horseback sign on the roof. My creative pondering never departed much from the premise that this backdrop offered a definitive sense of place and had to be paid homage to. Neon lights don’t do themselves justice during the day, but as the bar is busy until closing, 365 days a year, shooting at night offered challenges. The solution was to film at 5.30 am and, on the morning of the shoot, this offered some bonuses as there was fresh snow and a temperature of 0°F. This extreme cold allowed the exhaust fumes from the Ford Bronco to add more drama to the set. I think a few cowboys were left a little disappointed with the manner of the cowgirl’s departure in this tableau. To leave the bar alone is one thing, but to leave with a wolf must have been distressing for all her courters. We would like to acknowledge John Baxter...

Pacify
By Rick Garcia
Located in Chicago, IL
Archival Ink on Museum Quality Rag Paper Available in the following sizes: 16 x 20 inches 24 x 30 inches 30 x 40 inches Edition size: 25 Please inquire regarding framing Rick Garcia's RAG13 Collection is inspired by the observation that there has been a significant and permanent change in our public and private lives. These artworks use symbolism to illustrate how the ubiquitous presence of suspicion and the act of being a suspect have both become a way of life. Adults and children are shown as generic solid shapes with parts missing to indicate loss of identity and the relinquishing of certain rights. The watchful eye of authority is always present as a figure dressed in black with three white stripes. All of the figures have a red dot to symbolize the human heart; how we are all connected. This red dot also represents being a target or a person of interest. Overall, this latest series creates a surreal flow of images, colors, and shapes blending into a beautiful and poignant work of art. About the Artist: "Photography has been part of my creativity throughout my life and more recently has become influential in my abstract work on canvas. The magical shapes of water gracefully floating or scattering in mid-air reveals the true god-like essence of nature. I am fascinated studying these images of bright tiny mercury-like globes, silky trails, dancing droplets and crystal clear languid sheets. " Rick Garcia was born in Havana, Cuba, and very soon after, his parents relocated to Miami, Florida. He was always encouraged to follow his dream of pursuing and developing his talent in art. In later years he found a deep-rooted connection to surrealism, especially the work of Salvador Dali. Garcia had become obsessed with the unique images and amazing technique of the Spanish painter and he eventually traveled to Port Lligat, Spain to visit the home and surroundings of his mentor. After years of attending the Art Institute of Miami, where he refined his artistic vision in drawing and painting, he was soon earning an income from published illustrations. Garcia has enjoyed a rich and diverse career starting with the hit TV show "Miami Vice" commissioning him to create a mural on the side of a three story building, and used his paintings for interior shots. Apart from a growing number of private commissions, his distinctive images were commissioned by The United Nations Postal Administration in 1998 and 2003. His stamps brought awareness to the growing extinction of the rainforest and its inhabitants, and followed with the 50th Anniversary of the World Health Organization, bringing awareness to the vanishing supply of freshwater, where it earned him the prestige of the most beautiful stamp series of 2003. Garcia was chosen as an "Absolut Artist of the 90s" in the popular vodka ad campaign and with his second piece Absolut Electric, this further drew worldwide attention. 1998, 1999, and 2001 garnered him the distinction of official artist to The Grammy Awards where his creations influenced the look of the live broadcast and graced the covers of the official program book, CDs, posters, apparel, and other various items. His work included portraits of stars such as Destiny's Child, Ricky Martin, Coldplay, Santana, Celia Cruz...
