Miniature Dogon Ladder: A Path to Personal Growth and Spiritual Enlightenment
Located in Stockholm, SE
Symbolically, miniature ladders like the Dogon ladder can hold various meanings depending on the context in which they are used and their cultural or historical background. For example, a miniature ladder can be a metaphor for ambition and personal growth, representing the desire to reach new heights or overcome obstacles. In spiritual contexts, a ladder can symbolize a path to wisdom or enlightenment, reflecting a personal quest to achieve higher consciousness or insight.
The interpretation of its design is multifaceted and may reflect a combination of traditional, cultural, and personal values. It serves as a beautiful symbol for those seeking inner guidance, a personal altar...

Big Hand Carved Painted Stag Sculpture in Wood, Early 18th Century
Located in Stockholm, SE
A big hand carved painted stag sculpture in wood, early 18th century. Pre-owned by a collector. This sculpture are one of a kind.
The stag deer are a symbol of spiritual authority, a deer stag is here depicted in all its magnificent elegance. Wooden sculpture of a life-size deer stag laying upon a rectangular platform base.
The symbol of the stag:
The deer’s antlers are one of the characteristics that have made it the figure of a spiritual superiority, according to some. Like a crown, the antlers grow beyond its body, bringing it closer to the sky and making it sacred. In many cultures, the deer is a symbol of spiritual authority. During a deer’s life the antlers fall off and grow again and the animal is also a symbol of reGeneration.
In the Christian imagination, the deer is a symbol of piety, devotion and of God taking care of his children: men. The legend of Saint Eustace...

Vintage Carved Wood and Poly Chrome Painted Figural Musical Clock Figurine
Located in Hamilton, Ontario
This vintage hand carved and hand painted musical clock is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in or near Austria in circa 1950 in a Folk Art style. The carving depicts a male figure leaning against a post mounted Black Forest styled clock. The carving is quite detailed and well executed on all sides and has been hand painted in a realistic style. Both the clock and the music box are currently not working as both have been over-wound and would require servicing. The head of the carving should turn slightly left to right while the music box is playing, but in its current state it is unknown whether the mechanism functions and/or what tune the music box may play. In addition, there is currently no key for the clock, but these normally use a standard small music box...
