The top is a high-gloss laminate that captures ambient light like a showroom surface, while the curved edges and flush handle details keep the profile tight and streamlined. With generous drawer volume and weighty construction, this casepiece balances sculptural form with everyday functionality. Little of the Chapter One collection remains today, making this an outstanding opportunity. Its proportions—approximately 39.5″ W × 18″ D × 43.75″ H—make it ideal for both residential and high-end interior installations. Condition is VERY GOOD: the body has been professionally refinished to preserve the original aesthetic, the polymer fronts retain their rich color and depth, and all hardware and glides perform smoothly. The body has been expertly refinished: the frame and plinth base stripped, sanded, primed, and painted a crisp white, while the molded plastic drawer fronts are original and rendered in vibrant green Cycolac polymer. The restoration team pulled no punches on this authentic Raymond Loewy Media Cabinet Credenza, and the end result exceeded our expectations. Every inch of the wood doors and side panels were re-painted to match the original dark mocha color. The back panel was in very good condition, so we left it original. As you can see, this unit is fully finished on the back and attractive from every direction. The orange, infection molded plastic drawer fronts were finally buffed and polished to a glassy shine. The cabinet is supported by a brand new plinth base that we fabricated in our workshop. It's painted black to match the original. Except this time, we used solid pine instead of composite material. Lastly, we covered the painted white top with a sheet of white laminate to increase durability and practicality. No need to worry about water marks and scratches with this new top. The industrial strength Formica is also ideal for TV and stereo components...

We re-finished the rosewood on both front and back to accentuate the contrast between all of the diverse materials that make up this unit. As you can see, this console is fully finished in rosewood on the back and attractive from every direction. The bottom spanner was re-painted white and the cherry red, injection molded plastic drawer fronts were finally buffed and polished to a glassy shine. The top section drawer cabinet is separate from the base, and can be lifted off and screwed in place if desired. The bottom is a rosewood platform with polished chrome legs attached underneath. No need to worry about water marks and scratches with this top. The industrial strength laminate is ideal for TV and stereo components...
