About Me Roger Winter is originally from Wales and emigrated to New York City in 1967 to work for the British Diplomatic Service. Later, he partnered with Richard Hall, a fine arts professor at Pratt Institute, to form Hall and Winter Ltd. During the 1980 s and 1990 s Roger and Richard became well known for selling high quality English and American antiques throughout the northeast region.
