On offer here is a beautiful pair of late 19th-century French bronze fire-gilt and crystal-hung sconces. The large cast bronze sconces each feature five scrolled arms and are decorated with acanthus, scrolls, and floral themes. The asymmetrical shape is typical of the French Louis Quinze or Rococo style. The bronze was completely fire gilt.
