A striking ceramic famille vert Eagle motif tea caddy with lid. This piece is in the Americana or Traditional English style. It is made of crisp white porcelain and is decorated with a rich green hand-painted design. The body features an Eagle with wings spread on both the front and back. The Eagle grasps a quiver of arrows in one talon, and an olive branch in the other. A banner across the bird's chest reads "Pluribus Unum".
