19th Century Sèvres Gilded Porcelain Cachepot with Floral Garland and Lion-Masks

This exquisite 19th-century Sèvres porcelain cachepot showcases the refined artistry and luxurious craftsmanship for which the Sèvres manufactory is celebrated. Beautifully hand-painted floral garlands encircle the body, displaying a rich palette of pinks, yellows, lilacs, and blues—all rendered with remarkable delicacy and depth. A deep cobalt ground enhances the vibrancy of the flowers and provides an elegant contrast to the lavish 24k gilt decoration. Two finely modelled gilt lion-mask handles add a sculptural element, lending the piece a sense of classical grandeur. Intricate gilt patterns, executed with precision, wrap the lower body in an ornate neoclassical border that highlights the superb workmanship. The underside retains Sèvres marks and painter’s inscriptions, further confirming its authenticity and heritage.
