Dial: The original champagne dial with black Roman numerals at twelve, three , six and nine with batons in between and outer minute track and signed Rolex Genève Cellini with original blued steel baton hands.
Case: The rare Twenty Dollar coin in pristine condition dated 1904 with little sign of wear. The secret catch to open the coin and reveal the watch is located on the side of the coin. When open it reveals the watch which can tilt up so that the coin can sit on a desk. The case is numbered with the model number and serial number and Swiss Hallmarked.
Movement: The extra flat fully jewelled Swiss nickel finished movement signed Rolex. The winding and hand setting crown is located at the one o'clock position.

Thomas Higgart. A Fine Early Champleve Dial Silver Pair Case Verge Pocket Watch with it's Steel Crank Key. C1740.
Dial: The beautiful silver champleve dial engraved out of a piece of silver, with Roman numerals filled with black enamel, outer engraved minute ring with engraved Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, all inlaid with black enamel. The dial also has raised cartouches in between the Roman numerals. The centre of the dial has been engraved Higgat London with a garland of flowers. The watch has it's original blued steel Beetle and Poker hands, which have survived over the centuries. The hands are set by putting the key on the centre abor and turning .
Case: The fine silver pair case with the outer case being plain and the inner case also being plain with the winding hole to the back of the inner case. The inner case is stamped with the case maker mark of P.D which I believe to be Peter Desvignes, who worked from premises at 221 Piccadilly London.
Movement: The excellent condition verge fusee movement which comes out of the front of the watch has a large beautifully hand engraved cock with garlands of flowers. The movement is numbered and signed Thos Higgat London. with the small silver dial to regulate the watch. The watch has a verge escapement with fine baluster pillars supporting the plates.
This pocket watch is a very fine and rare example, because of it's condition of an early 18th Century...

Dial: The white enamel dial with Roman Numerals and outer minute track. The centre of the dial has a blued steel background with two gold coloured Blacksmiths holding hammers resting on an anvil. The arms move up and down when the repeater mechanism is activated. The blued steel spade hand complementing the dial and the figures.
Case: The heavy (120grms) 18ct yellow gold full hunter case. The front and back covers are both plain as is the inner cover. The case was made in 1896 having British hallmarks. The case maker was Thomas Newnham Bell, who worked out of 3 Spon street Coventry. The cases are all English hallmarked and numbered. The repeater slide is located at one'oclock and the hand set device is located between four and five by the inner bezel.
Movement: The unsigned high quality nickel finished three quarter plate keyless lever movement with compensation balance blued steel hairspring and fast slow regulation. The gongs are visible but the hammers are not. The watch chimes the hour and quarters clearly. The watch has been recently fully serviced.
This is a super example of English and Swiss co-operation in producing a finely crafted automaton Pocket watch...

The inner cover numbered and signed Des Granges Late Recordon Cockspur Street Charing Cross London. The case maker was Thomas Hardy, a very famouse case maker of his time. The top of the pendant lifts up and turns then is depressed to make the watch chime.
Movement: The gilt metal finished movement with a flat arm balance, slow fast regulation Duplex escapement hanging barrel and the wheels for the repeating works visible. The hammers and gongs are also visable. The watch chimes the hours and quarters clearly.
This watch is indeed rare and important as it is double signed by Des Granges late Recordon who was the main agent in London for Abraham Louis Breguet. It also has a Duplex escapement which was used to achieve a higher accuracy of time keeping. Des Granges was a pupil of Josiah Emery...

Dial: The plain silver dial signed Cartier with black Roman numerals and outer minute track with blued steel moon hands complimenting the dial beautifully.
Case: The very rare and highly important King George VI Gold Five pound coin minted in 1937, the year of his coronation. The back of the coin has Saint George fighting the dragon Symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the victory of the Christian spirit over the forces of evil. The secret button on the side of the case presses in to reveal the watch. The watch can be tilted upwards so that it can sit on a desk.
Movement: The extra flat fully jewelled Swiss nickel finished movement signed Le Coultre Co. The movement is fully jewelled to the centre abor with compensation balance, blued steel hairspring and fast slow regulation. The winding and hand setting crown is located at the three o'clock position.
