Introducing a rare and limited set of eight (8) Model 80 Dining Chairs designed by Niels Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, crafted in the 1960s in Denmark. These stunning chairs are constructed from solid Burmese teak, which have been sanded and refinished showcasing the natural beauty of the wood grain. The curved back and sculptural seat backs add a touch of elegance to the design, while the tapered legs add a sense of lightness and airiness. The seats and backrests have been re-strapped and reupholstered in a rich, thick-cut genuine Italian leather hide in a fabulous hazelnut brown tone perfectly off-setting the natural wood tones of the solid teak frames. Niels Otto Moller was a Danish furniture designer, known for his modern and functional designs. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and went on to work for various furniture manufacturers, including J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, where he designed the Model 80 Dining Chairs. J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik was a Danish furniture manufacturer, founded in 1944 by Jorgen Langkilde Moller.
