The legendary Madame Paulette, known as the hat designer to the stars and royalty, made this hat for an equally legendary performer. Created to match a Chanel haute couture ensemble in the early 80's, it can be worn with almost anything. Constructed from high quality felt with a banded edge. The fit is perfect for a small/medium head. Madame Paulette has largely been overlooked until the recent publication Hats By Madame Paulette written by her daughter-in-law Annie Schneider, a worthwhile read for vintage fashion enthusiasts. In excellent condition, no signs of wear or damage. 20" diameter.
