About the Item
Beautiful box from the late 19th Century completely covered with colorful genuine gems and semiprecious stones. Garnets, aquamarines, sapphires and amythests are just some of the stones used in the openwork floral patterned cover. The interior of the silver/sterling box is lined in a gold wash. Lovely hand engraved designs on base of box. 19th Century European. Exquisite quality.
