About the Item
A fabulous hat from this time period, made of deep, midnight blue straw/raffia. It is adorned either side of the center front with silk and velvet flowers and tiny wax berries. On the front and both sides of the hats brim, there are wave style pleats that give a beautiful shape to the hat. Inside the hat is a drawstring that can be used to fit the hat to different wearers and make sure that it is sitting the correct height on the head.
