Amazing beret or large Bibi of lady in braided ribbons of brown Rafia squirrel and transparent Celluloïd dating from the Second World War. Work done during the material shortage and made from recovered and recycled elements, from a seamstress probably at home! Matching silk grosgrain ribbon used as a headband. Asymmetrical treatment of the beret for a slanted wear. Very slight discoloration. Good general condition of color and conservation.
Dimensions: Head circumference 52 cm, diameter 34 cm, height 15 cm.
