Vintage c.1930's midnight navy blue / black pleated silk turban style dinner hat. Plisse pleated silk body. Gather twisted pleat floppy brim comes to a center knot at forehead. Black silk lined and grosgrain ribbon interior rim. Almost identical piece found at The Met (Accession Number:C.I.45.61.3). Unmarked Fabric Content: Silk; Lining: Silk. Marked Size: 22 1/2 Measurements: Hat Circumference: 22" (measured in the interior of the hat).
