1990s Maison Michel Paris Chocolate Brown Wool Felt Fedora Hat w Camelias
Feathers: Quite a large, 20-21" brim with a tall, sculpted crown. This is a very structured brim, band and crown that will hold up to a breeze. Approx. 6 stacked felt molded camelia flowers and dyed to match turkey feathers. Inner grosgrain band and combs for securing. US size Medium to Large.

Auguste Michel Hatter and Milliner founded his Atelier in 1936 in Paris. Michel Modes 65 Rue Sainte-Anne Paris.
The atelier was sold in 1968 to Pierre Debard and his Milliner wife Claudine.
In the 1970s Maison Michel provided hats and turbans for Yves Saint Laurent Christian Dior Givenchy Valentino and Chanel.
In the end of the 1980s The Milliner started working on collections for Chanel with Karl Lagerfeld's creative vision.
Chanel acquired the company in 1997 and in 2006, made it part of its stable of Metiers D'Art.
