About the Item
1960's novelty straw hat by Margie Webb Designs, California Accessories. The fleshtone pink straw body is made in Italy and has a trilby style silhouette whimsically decorated with a stuffed fabric watermelon slice and faux green foliage. A fun topper for garden parties and sunshine filled Summer days.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition. There is an elasticized chin strap tucked into the inner rim which has lost its stretch and would best be replaced, if desired.
MEASUREMENTS
The inner grosgrain rim measures 21.25" circumference. The brim is 2.25" deep at the front slightly tapering to 2" at the back. The crown has a 5.25" rise with 8" to the center crown.
