About the Item

Indispensable accessories, neckcloths stretched the Edwardian woman’s wardrobe by changing the look of a dress and covering the décolletage. Though it is over a century old, this whisper-light version looks modern thanks to its banded collar, artisanal crewelwork and throat ties. A gorgeous layering piece and a beautiful fragment of history. Sheer, open-sided neckcloth dickey consisting of two buttoning front panels and a single back panel joined at the shoulders; front is ultra-sheer linen, while back is linen to shoulder blades and cotton lawn beneath.
