About the Item
Fabulous mosaic inlaid eagle bolo by the renowned Porfilio and Ann Sheyka. Measuring 2.85" H x 1.90" W. This piece is one for which the couple is famous and it's depicted in Levy (above) and in Schaaf's Biographies 1 books and many and many others. The mosaic inlay is fabulous and the brown shell inlay is, strip after strip, perfectly shaped and rounded. There is a yellow lip shell that is hand-engraved, jet mother of pearl and turquoise. The legs are hand engraved with fine lines as are the wings and rays emanating from the eyes on the mother of pearl. Eagles' Heads hanging at the bottom of the bolo.
