Rare Michael Vollbract Graphic print silk borzoi batwing tunic blouse c 1980s The unique artisan blouse is designed with a sleek borzoi canine figure that runs across the front Designed with light weight fluid water silk. The neck is constructed with a loose striped cowl neck. The voluminous batwing sleeves undulate with movement The center hemline on both sides converge into a diagonal point The backside of the artisan blouse echoes the striped design from the collar The canine's paw runs across the back next to Michael's Vollbrach's silk screened name. Makes a very unique art to wear collectible garment Vollbrach was a very skilled textile designer who collaborated with fashion designer Bill Blass on many of his collections. He too was an accomplished painter focusing his talents on a myriad of celebrities from the mid to late 20th century The blouse is labeled US size 8. As a vintage garment appears smaller on current size standards. More in the range of a contemporary US size 6 The loose silhouette crosses over a few smaller range sizes
