About the Item
This vintage 1920's beadwork bandeau top is just something else!
True flapper showgirl style it is a bandeau or tube style top covering the bust with glass beaded design and metal thread, silver lame tassles all around the hem.
It has a swirling pattern in blacks, silver and greys, very moulin rouge, it has had some later added black satin straps and it fastens at the back with metal hook and eye fasteners.
Made for the stage, the work that has gone into this is incredible, a rare piece of fashion history.
Condition:
It is in good used condition overall with some small areas of missing bead and a couple of small loose threads, some wear to the inner lining including discolouration.
It is a small size and does not fit on my smallest mannequin.
