About the Item
This 1920's black and white wool coat and scarf is not just a beautiful garment, it is a rare example of 1920's clothing in excellent condition. The coat has an attached scarf at the center back neckline, which can be styled in many different ways. I have photographed three of the options for you. The coat is made from a very interesting black and white wool fabric with a vertically woven wiggly white stripe and narrow horizontally woven black bands adding depth. The collar, scarf, oversized lapels, shoulder seam and the wide band at the wrist all have a very narrow version of the white stripes for added interest. The coat closes at the center front with two black Art Deco buttons and fabric loops. The long scarf and the coat are both lined in black silk and it is in excellent condition.
