About the Item

Glamour alert! Designed under the artistic direction of Adolph Schuman for his company Lilli Ann, a fabulous aqua blue French wool coat with lush fox fur trim at the collar and cuffs. This has a classic 1960's silhouette with relaxed shoulders, an unstructured drape and the hint of a swing in back. It buttons up the front with a snap tab style collar under the fur which is embellished with a bow. The sleeves are cut with a modest bell shape and the generous pockets are a nice place to keep your hands warm or stow away gloves. It is lined with a satin acetate and though the collar is stitched on, it can easily be removed for a simpler look, if desired. Originally retailed at 'House of Fashion', a ladies boutique in Warren, Ohio. CONDITION Good vintage condition with some general wear to the fabric and a small subtle circular discoloration at the back approximately 12" up from the hem, photograph 15. There is a hint of yellowing at the inside rim of the collar, please see photograph 14. SIZING MEASUREMENTS Best fits U.S. sizes 4 - 6 with attention to the following measurements.
