About the Item
Versatile c.1980s mink jacket that converts to a vest by removal of the sleeves. The thigh-length jacket features a light fox open collar that extends to the hem and furnishes a nice contrast to the dark mink, which is worked in vertical strips throughout. Further details include epaulets with buttons at the shoulders and turned back cuffs, side pockeds, and fur-hook closures. To convert the jacket to a vest, the epaulets are unbuttoned to reveal zippers underneath; the flaps of the epaulets are then buttoned underneath the shoulders. Deep armholes provide space for a jacket or thick sweater underneath. The brown lining has an Alaskan fur label and initials of the previous owner.
All aspects in very good vintage condition, no flaws noted.
