About the Item
Inspired by the works of Paul Poiret. Each Morphew Collection Cocoon is made from an antique piano shawl. Each piece beautifully embroidered in silk threads by hand nearly 100 years ago. Made in New York we drape, pleat and don’t cut each piece into shape. This ingenious design preserves the valuable textile. This is an heirloom piece, designed to last generation after generation. Trimmed in vintage ribbon and fringe each cocoon is finished off with an antique clasp at the drop waist for a true art deco look.
