About the Item
A unique double coat, the main piece of silky black and brown print featuring a sable collar that continues down the front of the coat to the hem. It is lined with the same fabric and sandwiched in between is a fluffy interfacing to add warmth to the silky fabric, almost like a puffy without seaming. The cut is slightly A-line with vertical slash pockets. A second, unlined coat in a black nubby fabric can be attached via snaps along all edges to provide a different look. Either coat can be worn on its own. It appears that the coat has been customized for a client by a furrier, especially the print one with the attached sable (there are 2 extraneous buttonholes); the black coat looks manufactured and added. Fresh out of an estate.
