About the Item

Impossibly beautiful, this ultra-rare Revillon fur manages to be even more striking on its interior than its exterior. Though the cut and features are solidly mid-century, the extraordinary degradé silk lining—sewn in scalloped rows of silk de Chine—are an Art Deco masterpiece that will tempt you to wear the coat inside-out. Stroller-length princess coat of horizontally-sewn female mink; inverted pleats each side from waist to hem for extreme flare. Wide notched collar and bracelet sleeves; velveteen lined pockets each side. Double breasted front closure with six crystal studded black buttons; hook at loop at throat permit closing to chin. Fully lined in scalloped black, brown, caramel and taupe silk de Chine stripes; velvet band around hem and interior silk waist ties.
