About the Item
A fabulous beige and black cotton trompe l'oeil trench coat jacket from Japanese designers Naoki Ichihara, Tadanao Yamashita and Shingo Otsuka for TALK ABOUT THE DISTRACTION. It appears as a double breasted coat but the buttons, buttonholes, folds in the fabric and other details are a print in the fabric or the illusion of trompe l'oeil French for 'trick the eye'. The coat is single breasted with buttons hidden under a front placket. It has hip pockets, shoulder epaulets, a back yoke and a matching belt at the waist and around each cuff. The back has a hem vent and there are inner button welt pockets. It is lined in khaki cotton. Marked Japanese size L.
