Vintage 1950 s Blonde Mink Cape Tiered Collar Shoulder Cape UK 8-14 US 4-10

About the Item

Rendered in the softest shade of blonde mink, this late 1950's shoulder cape, which boasts the original owners initials "C G G" embroidered along the lining, is the perfect piece to keep the chill away. The elegant V shaped neckline is framed by a raised turned down collar, which draws together along the front of the décolletage with a simple button and loop fastening. The simple shoulder line is accented by the elegant cut, which boasts a front slit, allowing for ones arms to be threaded through and positioned within to two front pockets situated along either side of the front of the cape. The sweeping A line cut of the back of the cape, completes this piece in a glamorous and iconic silhouette. This cape is fully lined in cream silk. Label: None Measurements: Shoulder to Shoulder: 16 inches Shoulder to Hem : 21.5 inches Shoulder to edged of side: 18 inches Armpit to Armpit: 38 inches Fastenings: 1 button and loop fastening Size: Small to Medium Condition: This cape is in near perfect vintage condition. with gentle and natural wear to the lining along the nape, a few gentle age marks to the lining.
