About the Item
This original, rayon crepe dress was designed in the 1940s. The fabric is stunning and has retained its vibrancy, showcasing a whimsical patchwork/bunting print in childlike hues of yellow, blue, pink, purple and green. It is composed of asymmetric panels with a wrap-over skirt that is gathered on the left side of the waist and adorned with a pretty bow. The design has additional sewn-on material which - along with the nice weight to the crepe - allows it to fall elegantly when worn. The three-quarter length sleeves are ruched and gathered by hand.
This dress is in excellent vintage condition. Due to its age, there is no size or composition label, so please check the below measurements closely. Will fit up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-10.
