About the Item
A fabulous little black silk 1940s dress. It has a V neckline, elbow length sleeves, shoulder pads and a front peplum on the A line skirt. The bodice front has 2 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes. The incredible detail includes dozens of intricately constructed individually finished matching applique fabric flowers which adorn the neckline and bottom of the sleeves. This is a very finely made garment with much attention to detail. It is unlined and has side opening that closes with snaps.
