About the Item
Incredibly rare Jacques Fath black and white cotton gingham dress from his Spring-Summer 1949 American collection for Joseph Halpert. Impeccably tailored fan-tail bustle back with peplum flair is embellished with buttons. Two large front patch pockets. Button detail at neckline. Closes up center back with "Talon" metal zipper and snaps. Also contains a label for "Heins - Waukegan, Illinois". There is no fabric content label, but this dress feels like it is crafted of cotton. There is no size content label, but this dress appears to fit like a current women's Small. Please refer to measurements to insure a proper fit.
