About the Item
This charming, cotton sun dress was designed in the 1950s by Canadian label, Du-Rite. With a softly abstracted floral print in soft pastel shades in pink, blue, green and grey, it is a lovely piece for a summer event. It features a dropped waist with piping and V shaping to the front and back. There are princess seams to contour the bodice, a full calf length skirt with a soft net lining for additional volume and a central zip fastening at the reverse.
This pretty dress is in excellent vintage condition. Due to its age, it has no size or composition labels. We believe it would best suit up to a US size 4, UK size 8. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in. (163cm) and this dress was a great fit on her.
