A rare example of 50’s Egyptian haute couture, at the time Egypt was a constitutional monarchy, this feminine “Miss Egypt” dress is crafted in a flowery tapestry that is sculptural and more resilient than most fabrics. Entirely embellished with hand sewn beads (see picture xxx), the dress has a flattering scooped neckline that plunges lower at the back and gives this recognizable 50’s silhouette ! Fastening with a concealed zip and one hook and eye on the left side, this piece is unlined.
