About the Item
This is an absolutely beautiful and striking 1960s crocheted dress by British label Janet Cotton. We have had several pieces in the shop with this label over the years and they all demonstrate exquisite quality. This dress is in absolutely pristine condition and looks like it has never been worn. It has a delicate circular crocheted cotton overlay with cap sleeves that have sweet scalloped hems and three dainty bows. There is diamond shaped cut out work that exposes the tulle underlay on the sleeves and this underlay extends along the top portion of the bodice so that the the collar has a slightly sheer appearance. The dress is French seamed on the bodice and darted on the skirt with a central zip to the back. It has an acetate pink lining. Condition wise this dress is flawless and will fit up to a UK 10 / US size 6.
