About the Item
This elegant vintage 1960s metallic evening dress is of high-end, British manufactured quality although unlabelled. The opulent and textured brocade fabric has an iris design in alternating two-tone forest green which shimmers in the light with understated glamour. The dress has neat cap sleeves and is superbly tailored to create a classic hourglass silhouette. The bodice is drawn in at the waist and the straight skirt falls snugly over the hip, finishing below the knee, with a short back slit to ease movement. The dress is lined throughout in coordinating green sateen fabric with a concealed zip fastening at the centre reverse. This beautiful cocktail attire is in excellent, barely worn condition. On very close inspection, there are a few, small, copper coloured marks. They blend in so well that they will not detract and I have priced accordingly. Would fit up to a US size 6, UK size 10.
