About the Item
This lively cotton dress as designed in the 1960s by Parikene and probably made in France. It showcases a playful novelty print of folk art in elaborate frames and English country garden blooms. The colours are particularly vibrant for a piece of 60+ years of age, with the bright yellows, greens, purples and reds really standing out against the splashy grey background. The sleeveless cut, button down front and wide boat neckline add an easy elegance, whilst the full skirt plays to the breezy summer feel. It is in excellent vintage condition and a good fit for sizes up to UK 12 or US 8.
