About the Item
At once girlish and sophisticated, this beautifully crafted hostess dress screams mid-century entertaining. The quilted fabric is puffy enough to be soft but stiff enough to stand on its own, and the combination of rich colors (including the pink fabric-backing) recalls holidays in the South of France.
Long sleeve maxi hostess dress with quilted skirt and polished cotton bodice; green velveteen folding cuffs and matching portrait collar with wings. Shirtwaist style with front buttoning bodice and zipper closure from waist to knees. Green velveteen lined placket; on seam pockets both sides. Tying self belt and thread loops; unlined (but quilted skirt is backed in pink!).
