About the Item

This is a rare beauty that came from a Palm Springs socialite/philanthropist who specially ordered this plus size dress in size 16 at I Magnin Beverly Hills. She was a huge Carolyn Rhoem fan and had many dresses in her fashionista closet. This dress is stunning. Layers of silk organza create the off shoulder collar. The navy crepe wrap dress has snaps to close the dress. fully lined in navy silk. Sleeve has beautiful tuxedo cuff with organza button and inside snap that allows sleeve to look like a floating cloud or can be pushed down to look less full and the sleeve becomes longer. A beautiful camellia flower pin accents the end of the neckline to the body of the dress. The dress is labeled size 16 and looks very true to size. Beautifully designed, the dress has many small pleats below the organza that flow into the body of the dress. The dress has little to no use. Carolyn Roehm dresses have become very sought after and collected by many fashionistas. She made many gorgeous, museum worthy dresses during her fashion career.
