About the Item
Incredibly rare early Claude Montana for Idéal-Cuir. Montana began designing for Michelle Costas's Parisian leather label, Idéal-Cuir, in 1973 and continued until the early '80s. This exquisite piece of fashion history is quite collectible. The late designer is infamous for his strong silhouettes and expert leather cuts. Rich, deep, indigo-tinged midnight blue lambskin leather. The buttery-soft lambskin leather feels indulgently supple to the touch. Two side pockets at hips. Acetate lining. Snap and button closures. Excellent condition.
