Elegant Givenchy By Alexander McQueen Flannel, Lace and Snakeskin Sheath Dress from the late 1990's. Severe yet subversive with a simple yet deceptive cut which incorporates diamond shaped motifs in an array of different textures.
The "diamond" motifs are used to shape the waist without the use of traditional seams. The motifs are rendered in a combination of charcoal wool/cashmere flannel, light grey flannel, black snake skin with metallic lace (over a sheer nude liner).
Size 42 France. Back zip closure. 1990's France.
