Jean-Claude Jitrois 80s Suede Coat Dress with Sheer Insets
About the Item
Jean-Claude Jitrois made leather pieces of the finest quality in the 80s in Paris with expressly selected skins, including goatskin, and lambskin tinted in exotic colors designed to bring out the best assets of a woman's figure. Jitrois also added unique hand-stiched embroideries, inlays etc. to enhance the luxurious look and feel of his pieces which were manufactured in his 16th century mansion "Lieverville" on the Loire River on the outskirts of Paris. His celebrity client list was quite large and diverse including the likes of Faye Dunaway, Jackie Kennedy, Jerry Hall, Jean Cocteau, Grace Jones, Madonna, and Elizabeth Taylor.
