About the Item
The husband and wife team making up the creative force of San Francisco based Jeanne Marc clothing line were well known for their artfully designed garments and this whimsical two piece cotton dress is no exception. The ensemble consists of a top and skirt in a colorful print with a tropical bird motif. The contrasting shades are eye catching with a mix of sienna brown, purple, baby blue, moss green, butter yellow and peach. The collarless top buttons at the front with blousy sleeves, shoulder pads and purple inserts with sienna piping. The skirt buttons up the front with a purple quilted waistband and front panel. The waistband is elasticized at the back to create a cinched fit with a full flare skirt and side pockets. Both pieces are labelled.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition. The elasticized section of the waistband remains stretchy though there is a slight loss of integrity.
