About the Item

LOVE LALI VINTAGE This is an absolutely breathtaking wedding gown by British designer Jenny Packham, estimated to be from around 2009. The dress is nothing short of a work of art. Composed of four layers in ivory cream - the first pure silk lining, the second sheer silk, the third tulle with lines of cream sequins stitched on, and the top layer - sheer silk and tulle beautifully hand embroidered with sequins and beads in iridescent white, cream, silver and clear. The hemline of the top layer is cut in triangular points in the style of a handkerchief hemline. The silk bust is also overlayed in mesh and fully embroidered with beads and sequins, as are the spaghetti straps. The bust has a plunging neckline, and the straps form a cross-cross on a low cut back. Down the centre back is the closure in the form of silk covered buttons, these are very easy to undo and do up which isn't always the case with these kind of closures. The bust of the dress is fitted and the rest falls free and flowing to pool below into a beautiful train. The dress shows a touch more white in the pictures, but it is ivory/very pale cream depending on the light. The last two photos show the colour accurately and were taken inside in a room with flood with natural light. I refer to the colour as ivory/pale cream as in low light it looks more of a very pale cream, and in natural daylight it is ivory. The dress comes with several packets of spare beads, sequins and buttons, as well as its original tags. - Final shipping rates will be determined by location and the final weight of the shipment - displayed rates are only a guide Composition: No composition label Size: UK 10 - however due to only the bust being fitted - and the back being open, this would fit several sizes Measurements: Bust 30-32, but due to the open back will possibly fit larger Measured below the bust at the line where the beading stops 28" Length measured from the top of the strap to the front hemline 59" Length measured from the top of the strap to the longest point of the back hemline 71" Condition: The dress is in excellent condition and there are no flaws of note. The very edge of the hemline of the lining shows some very slight dirt marks but this is of course on the inside of the dress. I did not notice any missing beads or sequins, but there could always be a few here and there - the dress comes with several packets of spare beads, sequins and buttons.
