About the Item
We found this 1920s shawl in Florence Italy. Right away we knew we needed to save it and transform it into one of our piano shawl dresses. The beautiful silk embroidery wraps around the body as the silk is draped on the bias. Individual strands of the fringe were used to create braided straps which reach across a nude back with hooks in the front for ease of dressing.
